Look at all these rumours, surrounding me every day...

A few weeks ago, Iraqi blogger Zeyad wrote about the "widespread and presposterous" rumour that Ayad Allawi, Iraq's interim president, had been executing "militants" personally. Now, the Sydney Morning Herald reports that Ayad Allawi, Iraq's interim president, had been executing "militants" personally.

In that part of the world, I guess we can't completely rule out any story like this. But my bullshit detector is beeping very, very loudly.
