Liberals in freefall

A CTV/Globe and Mail/Ipsos-Reid survey puts the Liberals at 34%, just four points ahead of the Tories. The poll was conducted two days before the publication ban was lifted.

But before you get too excited, the Conservatives' biggest surge (and the Liberals' biggest drop) was in Alberta, where they were already far ahead. In Ontario, the Liberals still lead 38-34.
