Who does he think he is, Paul Martin?

Jacques Chirac plans to keep pushing for ratification of the European constitution even if (as now seems almost certain) French voters reject it in this Sunday's referendum.

There was a time when a story like this would have prompted comparisons to Quebec separatists, but these days a comparison to the federal Liberals would be more appropriate.
