Rejoice. Then go to Andrew Coyne's blog and read some of the comment threads. Thanks to an ad they produced, presumably test-marketed, relased on their website but are now desperately trying to disavow, the Liberal Party of Canada is now plausibly being accused of slandering Canadian soldiers.

I know, I know: we shouldn't get overconfident. But if the Liberals can recover from this, it will be either the greatest miracle in Canadian political history, or evidence of electoral fraud on a massive scale.
