Conference Semifinals Weekend

Last week, only Eli Manning and his four turnovers kept me from correctly picking the winner in every game. Thanks, Eli. Have fun on the golf course.

As for this week, Tony Kornheiser is trash-talking the Seahawks' dismal playoff record, but I'd more concerned about the Skins getting only 120 net yards on offence last week. Yes, they still won, but that kind of thing won't happen twice. Not only do I think the Seahawks are going to win this game, I don't even think it's going to be close. Maybe Washington will score a touchdown. Maybe.

You can never count out the Steelers, but I ain't betting against Indy this year. Chicago beat Carolina earlier this year with a rookie quarterback, and even though I'm a bit worried about Rex Grossman never having started a playoff game, that defence and that running game should get them into the Conference finals. That leaves the New England-Denver match, and it should be the best game of the weekend. The Broncos have been outstanding this year, but I can't pick Jake Plummer over Tom Brady. I just can't. Not in a playoff game.
