Two faiths, two standards

The Sheaf, a student newspaper at the University of Saskatchewan, wasn't willing to offend Muslims by publishing any of the Danish Mohammed cartoons. Christers, on the other hand...

Update: the editors of The Sheaf, perhaps realizing that they've been backed into a corner by their own hypocrisy, have apologized for "accidentially" printing the cartoon. (Uh-huh.)

Christians have no right to not be offended any more than Muslims do. But now that The Sheaf and other Canadian newspapers - university papers and mainstream dailies - have all agreed that they won't publish a cartoon if enough people make a fuss about it, you can understand why Christians at the University of Saskatchewan would act accordingly. (The question is, will mainstream papers show the Sheaf cartoon, or will they argue that a description should be enough to put the story in context?)
