Canadian Islamic Congress applauds the Iranian nuclear program

Meanwhile speaking of friends, it's interesting to note that the Iranian mullahs still have some. The Canadian Islamic Congress, Canada's most visible Muslim organization, has just congratulated the mullahs on their progress toward a nuclear bomb [that's not how the CIC puts it, obviously]. Canadian diplomatic relations with Iran are currenly suspended because of the Iranian government's involvement in the murder of a Canadian citizen in Iran in 2003. The CIC may be too slapstick a group to quite qualify as Fifth Columnists - but if the law cannot take the wish for the deed, Canadian public opinion can and should.
