As one of the announcers noted, Zizou has been playing this sport long enough to have heard pretty much everything you could say to try to get him going. On fark.com, people are speculating that Zidane, the son of Algerian immigrants, was set off by a racial slur. The last thing football needs is yet another racial controversy, so I certainly hope that wasn't it. Either way, a sad end for one of the all-time greats.
