Photo fakery alleged

Little Green Footballs is accusing a Reuters photographer of doctoring a photo to make an Israeli attack on Beirut look worse than it actually was.

I'm anything but an expert on this kind of thing (I haven't even figured out Photoshop yet), so I'd like to see more before I join the chorus accusing a major wire service of fraud. But this certainly looks suspicious.

Update: someone on Free Republic dug up another photo showing the same area of Beirut. The backgrounds do not match up. (However, there's no link given for the other photo, so we don't know exactly when it was taken. It could be from the Lebanese civil war, for all we know.)
