Who freaking cares?

Other than our puffed-up press, all thinking they're Halberstam or Woodstein.

Reporters excluded from PM's visit to base

Don Martin is a prime example of the degradation of Canadian journalism. He tries to project the image of a hard-bitten, cynical, man of the people, old school reporter straight out of The Front Page. In fact, he's just a self-important jerk. More from Mr. Martin, scourge of the powers that be, here.

Another serious jerk:

This little war of mine, I'm gonna let it shine

Jerc extraordinaire--quel Travesty:

...A mission now costing a fortune in blood...

Measured today, the price of that effort is 55 Canadian lives...

A certain amount of fortune debasement seems in effect. As for Korea...

I think the party line has been well established: columnists from CanWest [except the National Post - DJP], the Globe and Mail, and (naturally) the Toronto Star--though the last does have its moments and Rosie DiManno.

Update: Norman Spector's TODAY'S IDIOCY fingers a jerkette:

For sale: one very bad war
