Reporters excluded from PM's visit to base
Don Martin is a prime example of the degradation of Canadian journalism. He tries to project the image of a hard-bitten, cynical, man of the people, old school reporter straight out of The Front Page. In fact, he's just a self-important jerk. I think the party line has been well established: columnists from CanWest [except the National Post - DJP], the Globe and Mail, and (naturally) the Toronto Star--though the last does have its moments and Rosie DiManno.
