I still don't see the need for a full-blown judicial enquiry, as nothing substantive has come to light regarding actual government corruption with Airbus, the Coast Guard helicopters, or the Bear Head LAV project (it seems quite possible that the influence-peddlers in effect ripped off their clients). If only the Commons ethics committee could do a decent job...
