An excerpt from a piece by Clive James about his choices for "Books of the Year", from the Times Literary Supplement, Nov. 30 (text not online):

The book would be worth buying for a single phrase coined by its editor to define the most widespread of current threats to civilization in the West: "la bien-pensance sans pensée".
