McCain rising

He's now in the lead among Republicans nationally, though Giuliani is still within the magin of error. In New Hampshire, McCain and Romney are tied.

Captain Ed and Jim Geraghty, discuss McCain's turnaround in the last fifteen minutes (approximately) of this Boxing Day podcast interview. Their explanation? His seemingly insurmountable problems, especially his positions on campaign-finance reform and immigration, were well-known well in advance of the campaign heating up - and when other serious problems emerge with other candidates, they don't look quite so bad.
