Paul busted

Ron Paul is now trying to claim aliens wrote the racist newsletters issued in his name, or something. The thing is, he was singing a very different tune when this story bubbled up in 1996.

You have to wonder how anyone - aside from the Alex Jones crowd (who probably really do believe aliens were involved - can cling to the "he didn't know!!!" excuse now. Good on Matt Welch, and many of his Reason colleagues, for taking a critical look at the guy they put on their cover this month.
