The redemption of Norv and Eli

Norv Turner had a mediocre coaching record, at best, in Oakland and Washington, and when the Chargers started 1-3 it looked like he'd be no better in San Diego. Eli Manning had to watch his brother rewrite the record books, and the guy drafted ten positions later win a Super Bowl, while he was savaged for his inconsistency in the country's most vicious media market.

Today, though, they're both a game away from the Super Bowl. A Chargers-Giants Super Bowl remains unlikely, but it would certainly be nice to see this controversy settled once and for all.
