Ben there. Done that.
Holy cats! Tiger Woods has tied Mr Hogan for third highest career PGA Tour wins--64. And Tiger is just 32.
So far this year Tiger has won all three PGA events he's played and earned 13,725 FedEx Cup points, leading the list (don't worry about the details, it's an order of magnitude thing). That's 4575 points per tournament. The second player in the FedEx rankings, Phil Mickleson, has played six events and got 8,553 points. That's 1426 points per tournament. Which means Tiger is earning three times as many points per tournament as Phil (and he's also ruling the money list).
Here is the latest World Golf Ranking:
1 Tiger Woods, USA 21.75
2 Phil Mickelson, USA 9.70
3 Ernie Els, Zaf 6.68
4 Steve Stricker, USA 6.41
5 Adam Scott, Aus 5.72
Tiger isn't two or three times better than the rest; he is however demonstratably much superior--and more successful by far. I think a good case can be made that he's the most dominant professional athlete, ever.

Damian adds: did you ever think you'd see the day when a black golfer would dominate the PGA tour, and a black driver is arguably the best in Formula One?
