Sue-happy

Montreal blogger Byron Tau wrote a piece about freedom of expression and human-rights commissions for the McGill University student newspaper. Richard Warman responded pretty much as you might expect, though he hasn't yet tried to hit Lau with a cream pie.

Tau responds to Warman's legal threats by acknowledging some relatively minor errors in his piece (which have been corrected on the student paper's website) but standing his ground. Good for him.

Damian P.

Update: Warman is suing Ezra Levant, Kathy Shaidle, and several other Canadian bloggers and journalists. I'll have more on this before long.
