Canada overlooked again

The UN at its finest--but what about our monarchy, eh?

The UN Human Rights Council said the UK must "consider holding a referendum on the desirability or otherwise of a written constitution, preferably republican"...

That is the new, improved (!?!) UN human rights body. A body to which Canada was "pleased" to be elected in 2006, under "Canada's New Government". Phooey.

Damian adds: the UN Human Rights Council includes the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, against whom I'm sure a similar resolution will be directed any day now.
