A class act all the way:

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe on Sunday invited opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai to attend his inauguration, in a gesture of engagement after a widely condemned election, a government spokesman said.

"We have sent out invitations to opposition leaders, including Tsvangirai, to attend the inauguration," spokesman George Charamba told Reuters.

"This has been done in the spirit of the president's wish to reach out, a spirit to engage with the opposition as he has already indicated. It is a major step towards political engagement," he said. Tsvangirai's response was not immediately known. (via Dawg)
