Damian adds: even in these fuel-economy-minded times, the Viper is one of the few Chrysler products people actually dream of owning. (No kid has a poster of a Dodge Caliber on his wall, even the SRT-4 version.) Selling it off would be a colossal mistake, unless - as some have suggested - breaking up the company for cash was Cerberus's plan all along.
