The other debate

Most of the live-blogs I'm reading seem pretty impressed with Palin, but I think she looks terrified - especially compared with Biden, who seems almost unnaturally calm.

I went into this thinking she's just not ready, and I've seen nothing - in only a few, scattered parts of the debate, admittedly - to disabuse me of that notion.

Update (Friday morning): my commenters overwhelmingly disagree. Maybe she was much better in the parts of the debate I missed, but when she was asked about Iraq, Pakistan and Iran, I thought she was desperately trying to remember the talking points someone gave her. Biden made quite a few mistakes of his own, but he at least seemed to have some familiarity with the subject.
