The Liberal Party is a bad joke

Indeed a sick one (point below via Lowell Green, CFRA Ottawa).

On Thursday, Dec. 4, all Liberal MPs signed a petition to the Governor General that effectively supported Stéphane Dion's becoming prime minister in a coalition government. On Monday, Dec. 8, the great majority of Liberal MP were opposed to M. Dion's continuing as party leader and he resigned.

What kind of party is that? Responsible to govern the country--alone or, gasp, in a coalition with the NDP backed by the BQ?
