Er when was this? Certainly not within my life time. Sure there has always been nutters on either side of the political divide but unhinged vitriol has always been far more mainstream on the left.

Any leftist worth his or her salt, looking at the title alone ("My Left Wing") will sigh and move on.
The problem with screams of rage is that they all sound alike. Pretty soon the politics, if there were any, become kind of irrelevant.
