Yes, why exclude Colonel Blimp? What purpose does that serve? Though if anything his supporters should be glad he won't have a chance to make a fool of himself and them.

According to the FOX News/Opinion Dynamics Poll. Dec. 18-19, 2007, the top 5 GOP candidates nationally are:

Rudy Giuliani: 20%
Mike Huckabee: 19
John McCain: 19
Mitt Romney: 11
Fred Thompson: 10

The others -- Ron Paul, Duncan Hunter, Tom Tancredo, etc., poll at 3 percent, or less.

While his supporters no doubt see a great conspiracy here, the crazy aunt in the attic is not a contender. The more candidates in one of these misnamed "debates", the less we hear from those who have a real chance at getting the nomination.
