Comments: A boy named Sue
Comment by Sigivald:

Where did you think Arsenio Hall's name came from?

It's Spanish/Portugese/Italian, rather than a made-up "African-American" mutilation, so it's no surprise that people are named it, even in 2007, when nobody cares about Hall anymore.

(I've met a girl or two named James. It's unusual, but it works well enough.)

The bassist for the Bangles was a gal named Michael Steele, FWIW.

I think my favorite was the boy named Exxon... I'm guessing the parents weren't ecomentalists.

Of course now that I've commented on it I'm sure someone will tell me it's actually a traditional ________ name and that will just ruin it really.

Man, for me growing up with a rare name sucked. Never pronounced right, never spelled right.

Georgely? Just awful. Good luck kid.
