Comment by old white guy:

of course he should not be prosecuted. the guy is a muslim and he hates all canadians as do most muslims. the crap about moderate muslims just is not true. moderate until they reach critical mass. then the crap from all of them will hit the fan.

I don't think this guy should be arrested for his bigotry, but some of his comments are awfully close to incitement -- which is ILLEGAL. He bears watching.

I can't help wondering what he's doing here, since he hates our society so much. Wouldn't he be happier back in Bangladesh?

I do believe a case could be made for kicking him out of the University of Toronto (I believe that's where he's a student). Anyone who rants on about Jews the way he does doesn't belong there - i.e. if he wrote about blacks or Muslims the same way, how long before the University would respond?

OTH - given his semi-literacy, I'm surprised he was admitted in the first place.

Considering Ernst Zundel was deported from Canada for preaching 'denial' of an event (the holocaust)...

Why can't this asshat be ejected for preaching the promotion of an event?

It's idiots like this that will cause mainstreet muslims a lot of grief in the long run.

Canada's days of 'accomodation' are fast nearing the end..

He won't be disciplined in any way. He's a member of an accredited victim group which makes him untouchable.

How could we possible kick an apostle of Allah out of Canada?

Gee, the country has always belonged to Islam ( WE just don't know that yet), and so our fiesty jihadi is merely reclaiming his property.

On a serious note, he should be charged with sedition, tried, and if found guilty, booted outta the country.

Afterall, the gov't has a duty to protect canadian lives.....I think!

Comment by Frank Hilliard:

I have a letter in the National Post today saying it seems to me Salman Hossain is guilty of high treason under the Criminal Code. It says, anyone commits High Treason if he, "assists an enemy at war with Canada, or any armed forces against whom Canadian Forces are engaged in hostilities, whether or not a state of war exists between Canada and the country whose forces they are." Hossain has assisted the Taliban by sowing discord and fear among Canadians at home.

The sentence is imprisonment for life. Sounds about right to me.

Comment by L.J. Brooks:

Damian, the problem isn't that he might do something, but that
someone reading his rants may decide to act on them. Anybody remember what happened between Thomas Beckett and Henry II.

L.J., there's most definitely a whiff of "Will no one rid me of this meddlesome priest" here.

I'm also reminded (on a lighter note) of Richard Warman's wink-nudge about pie-ing David Icke.
