The funny part is that it probably was just an accident. The military was running out of things to bomb in Serbia and, with less than perfect information, was looking for targets of opportunity.
I was being facetious about bombing the Chinese embassy, but if we really want to stop the genocide in Darfur we need to convince the Chinese to stop propping up Khartoum, and you do that by making the cost in economic terms, and in terms of international prestige, too high.
Dafur is also another prime example of how the UN is part of the problem, not the solution.
