Comments: All the films Fitna to show
Comment by The Trusty Tory:

I've watched that film, and frankly, it's eye opening.

Donne-moi un break. The only word that comes to mind is pathetic. One video clip of British soldiers with a dubious over dub and another of some crazy fundamentalists (of unknown origin). Just asking, but how many people have the Christian fundamentalists murdered recently? What's the score for the jihadis?

What makes making a second movie "better"?

Do you think a short subject with lousy production values is going to get large institutions to cave the way a couple of explosions would?

Comment by Alan K. Henderson:

The filmmaker claims that "Fitna" took the Koran out of context. But he doesn't compare apples to apples. The OT clearly states that Israel was ordered to make war *only* against certain tribes (such as the Amalekites) that no longer exist.

I've been following the "Blogging the Qur'an" series at Hot Air, and I don't see the Koran clearly stating that Mohammed's war commands dealt only with his contemporary enemies. Sura 9:29 sure sounds like it applies to infidels of today:

"Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book [Jews and Christians], until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued." (Yusufali translation)
