Good luck. Doubt he's known beyond the rank and file of NDPers, and doesn't have the political character or notoriety of Sven, whom Hedy defeated.
He will probably have to ride on the disatisfaction with the carbon tax in BC.
Hear he's against it. At least, that's what being said at Rabble.
My understanding is that he wanted an uncontested nomination in a Liberal riding (West Van.-Sunshine Coast-Sea to Sky Country). He does not live in the riding. He apparently talked to Dion but Libs insisted on a contested riding nomination. So he took his marbles and went to the N.D.P.
