45 minutes in and I'm giving up. I lean towards Bush in general, but he's getting killed in this debate -- he seems hesitant when answering questions and petulant when responding. In the "looks presidential" department, Kerry is scoring big points.
That said, Kerry saying that we should have transferred authority over to the UN after Baghdad's fall says an awful lot about his idea of leadership.
What a depressing choice we have in these two.
10:45PM - Bush just said "Saddam Hussein" when he meant to say "Osama bin Laden". Some would say that's a Freudian slip if there ever was one.
I nearly choked on my dinner when I heard that. Bush's problem is that he doesn't seem to be able to distinguish between the "bad guys". They're all wearing black hats in his version of "cowboys and terrorists", and therefore they're all interchangeable.
Kerry's problem is, well, he doesn't recognize most of the UN as belonging to that category of "bad guys".
