In standing behind Mr.Grewal ,Stephen Harper shows good judgment and well placed loyalty. Is Martin showing the same good judgment with Murphy & Dosanjh?
Posted at 2005-06-22 17:15:10 [PermaLink]Grewal is cleared on immigration and the Airport incident but you Damian are not convinced about the tapes. Lets see now, both Murphy and Dosanji are clearly making future offers for Grewals vote and the best you can come up with is the tapes were edited. Are you a reporter for the G & M or the Toronto Star maybe?? Just joking. Grewal caught the Liberals doing what they are good at, offering bribes. What does it take to convince you??
Posted at 2005-06-22 18:03:24 [PermaLink]Grewal is cleared, but not because he showed good judgement. The report says he was in error.
It points out that Grewal has tred on Volpe's turf 232 times. Policy of this sort, if not made by law, is made by the minister, and that is Volpe.
To further underscore the report's point, if Grewal went and did the same thing now, he would be in an ethics violation because he now knows better.
If you read the commissioner's report, it contains Volpe's letter, in which Volpe says that he does not believe that Grewal accepted money, but that the matter was a clear concern. Give it a read, I posted everything at [External Link]
Volpe performed in question period, to be sure.
Grewal is an embarassment because he apparantly did not know any better in regards to a very clear matter.
Grewal is still an embarrasment. If the conservatives embrace him they'll be sorry.
Posted at 2005-06-23 11:15:17 [PermaLink]So the claims of him trying to buy a deal with the Liberals is a lie, wow,no wonder the Liberal were enraged, after knowing what Bekinda was and working on the price for her services,Martin couldn't believe that Grewal couldn't be bought.
How can the Liberals Govern and stay in power if taxpayer dollars can't buy Election anymore,Democracy is dead folks.
