Damian,
Thanks for posting. Its nice to see some people out side the US are interested in helping us when we are hurting.
Thanks again.
I've posted a link at Publius [External Link]where I mention the Union for Reform Judaism, who have also set up a Katrina fund and will accept donations from Canadians, and will also give you a donation receipt if you want.
Let's show 'em that Canadians DO care!
Thanks for think about us here in the U.S. :)
James
Your thoughts and help are much appreciated.

Thanks to our brothers and sisters to the North.
Why don't they use some of the five BILLION dollars they have stolen from our lumber industry or the untold billions stolen from our cattle farmers? It doesn't matter what we donate, they will despise us again in six months anyway...not a nickle from me...
Posted at 2005-08-31 14:51:33 [PermaLink]Dude, your hits must be pounding with a link on LGF and Michelle Malkin.
Good stuff, D.
When I gave to the Salvation Army Wednesday night, I was able to select Hurricane Katrina Relief as the usage for the funds.
Posted at 2005-09-01 06:28:37 [PermaLink]No doubt the CA$5 Billion comment came from Simonoedipus on Pokah. I assumed they would be adults about this.
Some people have expressed concern that the links go to pages that are not 'legit'. I have no idea, but you might want to address it. Just FYI.
Thanks for the links. And thanks Canadians for stepping up, unlike some others around the world.
Mark
Thanks for the link to the UJA of Greater Toronto. Donation made. I know that if a disaster struck any part of Canada, Americans would be doing whatever they could and then some more to help us out.
Posted at 2005-09-01 12:28:14 [PermaLink]Any idea of where clothing and other "need" donations can go? I can't afford to send money, but I can collect usable items.
