Comments: ARE THE CANADIAN PEOPLE READY FOR THE BODY BAGS?
Comment by Damian, not THAT Damian:

"The Dutch are contributing more than 1,000 troops, many of them to fly and maintain Chinook transport helicopters and Apache gunships."

The sad thing is that we sold the Dutch those Chinooks. Now we're trying to buy new ones, but Bombardier and their sock-puppets in the Liberal Cabinet won't let us. And in the meantime, we're using a rented Soviet-era helicopter (Kamov) to move our DART personnel and supplies around in Pakistan.

Martin issued a statement because he's getting ready for an election. Don't you know that once your soldiers start dying your political opponent can't criticize your foreign policy because it's detrimental to the troops?
