Comments: Castro killed Kennedy?
Comment by Bruce Rheinstein:

It’s an interesting claim, but why would Oswald attempt to assassinate Edwin Walker first if he was supposed to assassinate Kennedy? Walker wasn’t a threat to Castro and his death would have imperiled Oswald’s “mission.” Also why would Oswald talk with his wife about hijacking an airplane to Cuba? Wouldn't it make more sense to plan to sneak him out of the country - even if your real plan was to kill him?

I’d want more corroboration than just the word of a defector before buying into this claim.

Anyway, now that you've started a Kennedy assassination thread expect plenty of posts from the Keepers Of Obscure Knowledge.

I know for a fact that it was the Mossad who leaked the info to the Stasi who sent the KGB to Cuba to tell Fidel about Oswald.

I know the "real" reason behind Kennedy's assination, and it has nothing to do with the KGB, Mossad or the CIA.

JFK's murder was a hit job, a dastardly, cowardly, post-humous hit job by Marilyn Monroe.

Same goes for RFK!

If you examine the zapruder film closely, you'll see a brief flash of peroxide blond in the upper lefthand corner of the screen.

That says it all.

Now you know!

I have always had "Cuban involvement" as my pet theory. Assuming that there is "something fishy" in the Warren Commission report, you have yourself a pickle of a problem to solve--why would the Warren Commission lie? Warren, Ford, Russell et al held no brief for the Mafia, nor for rogue CIA agents, etc.

So why would they sign on to a fraud upon the American people?

In the late 1970's, the Watergate baby Congressmen investigated the Kennedy assassination, and agreed to release the full results--fifty or sixty years down the line. Why would Ron Dellums, Bella Abzug and company conceal CIA perfidy, CIA-Mafia connections, etc.?

Because the alternative was to risk World War III. If the American people had known in 1964, say, that Oswald had had Cuban intelligence connections, we would have had a new Cuban missile crisis, this time leading to an American
attack on Cuba.

Why would Earl Warren, Gerald Ford, Ron Dellums and Lyndon Johnson agree to hide the truth? To prevent World War III.

Gerald Posner's book Case Closed is probably going to be the most complete and compelling reconstruction of the JFK assassination. Sadly, it adds no fuel to conspiracist theories and buttresses (or confirms, depending on your level of belief) the "Oswald acted alone" conclusion.

Which, as lacking in romance as it is, seems to cover the known facts best.

However, I do love a good (i.e. nutty) conspiracy. My personal favorite is the one that JFK was offed to prevent him going public about the Alien Treaty. You know the one, we get velcro and microwaves in exchage for providing subjects for anal probing. Yeah, the Big Government Secret that every US president from Truman to Bush 43 agreed to maintain. Had Jack played along, he'd be alive today, driving a car equipped with a 200 mpg carburetor and living in a home filled with appliances powered by perpetual motion machines.

p.s. That flying DeLorean in Back to the Future? It's real. A guy I know has a cousin who's kids play soccer on a team coached by a guy who lives next door to the guy who cuts the hair of the guy who takes out the trash at Area 51.

p.p.s. - the hoverboard, from the same film? Real too. A different guy told me about that one.

Oswald alone folks......even his own surviving brother thinks so........I would suggest watching the Peter Jennings special on this issue (one of the very few specials this old terrorist supporting hack did) about a couple of years ago....Very thorough....
