My 'skins went 4-0 to start the season playing big and ugly "D". I was really concerned those weeks in the final month when the offence was running up the scores. I feel much more comfortable playing the small ball.
Joe Gibbs' grand plan is unfolding as it should.
Hail Yes.
Sorry, I see the skins beating up the Seahawks physically, and winning a close one.
Chicago's defense could with the game, with an experienced QB, but they'll go with Grossman. You know, St. Rex, who has less NFL starts than Jake has playoff starts. When you have two good defenses, always pick with the experienced QB.
I'll agree on the Denver-New England game being the best of the weekend, though and have no clue how to pick it. Sentiment says Plummer have his annual horrible game.
And I do think Indy can beat Pittsburgh, especially since it's in the dome.
The Seaducks? Been there. Done that.

Don't let the Seahawks' stats fool you. Playing Arizona and SF each twice in a season isn't exactly a brutal schedule. Compare the NFC East, where the lowest ranked team is ranked higher than the second highest ranked NFC West team. The Redskins, all season long, have had to fight off the The Bears, the Seahawks, the Chiefs, the Bucs, the Broncos, the Giants, and the Cowboys. The Skins entire season has been "postseason".
I've said here before that the Skins have an uphill battle, and that this may be the end of a great season for them. But they do have a big chance of winning this weekend and, come the championship games, being a force to be reckoned with.
Please. I second the 'Seattle has a weak schedule while the Skins have been battling all year' comment from above.
Who comes on a DC Blog and says the Skins 'Maybe the Skins will score a touchdown?'
Santana, meet the 25th ranked pass defense. 25th ranked pass defense, meet Santana Moss.
The greatest hilarity is on the Seahawks website, where Seattle-ites have recently learned what 'The 12th Man' means. They've plastered it all over the site, talking about how important their fans are.
You can either have Starbucks, REI, and Microsoft OR a good NFL team. Not both. Those things don't match. Something about a screaming fan spilling a Caramel Machiatto on the guy next to him just doesn't work for me.
Hail to the Redskins.
Thank God the real football season starts again this Saturday with the Manchester derby and the Reds-Spurs match!
