I am getting so tired of hearing (and reading) via our left MSM that the "casualties" are mounting in Afganistan - Yeah - from traffic accidents! My god - more Canadians die in one day from traffic accidents than in a year in Afganistan yet we should pull our troops because of bad roads????

But - I guess by using those words they can make the implication that somehow everything has changed - the majority of the population who goes about their daily living with their heads up their a**, will get the impression that our soldiers are dying in combat!!

What else would you expect from Jack Layton. Remember he is the leader of a party founded by a pacifist who wouldn't have entered WW II to fight Nazism. The previous leader Alexa McDonough is on the record of pleading for a peaceful solution to the terrorism of Sept. 11.

Idiots - all of them.

Billy the Fish: Actually I think they are simply completely ignorant about the subject. Scary enough in itself.

Actually, Op ARCHER is less aggressive than Op APOLLO. This time around, we're just doing what we had been doing in Kabul, only in a much rougher neighbourhood.

During Op APOLLO, the Taliban and Al Qaeda were declared as enemies of Canada, and 3VP was dispatched to do what they do best.

The lack of institutional memory is astounding. At the end of it, either you believe that Sept 11, 2001 was an act of war against the West, or you don't. If you don't there's no amount of reason that will get you to understand why we're in Afghanistan.
