Comments: Congo vs Afstan
Comment by Brian Lemon:

Of course, blue helmets end up being placed by and run for the benefit of the Arab League, China, France, and Russia.
The UN is counterproductive to anything good happening, and an enabler of almost all the trouble in the world, one way or another.

David Pugliese can go to the Congo. 'Peace activists' can go with him to make peace. Good luck to them all, send us a postcard.

Is it just possible the reason we're not in the Congo is because the UN could'nt find it's ass with both hands and a road map?

The fact that 2,300 personnel assigned to Afghanistan would sap the military's resources to such a degree is all that need be said with respect to the neglect of our armed forces over the years.

Regarding the Congo, I know of some Christian Peacemakers who are now available.
