"according to documents obtained by The Globe and Mail."

What convenient timing, eh? The 'leaking' I mean.
I don't suppose they'd like to enlighten us as to who these groups represent(ed).

DaninVan: "the Mounties say in briefing notes prepared for Public Safety Minister Stockwell Day." I believe there was no leak--the documents were obtained under access to information.

A leak by any other name...
Amazing how quickly those documents were requested and located...unless of course the Globe & Mail already had them and was sitting on the info.
Sorry, either way, it's the Mushroom Syndrome.

Just to clarify, I'm not complaining about being kept informed; just about being manipulated.

Andrew Coyne of the Post said today that a number of other conspiracies are being investigated by the police at this point. Colin Kenney, a Liberal senator, has commented on the same topic as has Bill Graham, the interim Liberal leader. I doubt if we are being manipulated by any one in particular. I think we are just beginning to open our eyes.

Jim; I wasn't suggesting a conspiracy. More of a "Move along l'il doggies" type of manipulation.
This is an unfortunate coincidence with the brouha over MSM's being put on a short Ottawa leash. Not that it's not richly deserved. I suppose that I should actually be relieved that I'm pretty much being kept in the dark and fed poo.

Mark; asking and receiving are two different things.
You're there and I'm here; just guessing, but you're likely privy to a lot of background info that never makes it past the castle moat.
