As for the poll...again, whistling past the graveyard penny.....the Islamic idea of democracy is FAR FAR FAR different then the Western Judeo/Christian/Greco idea of democracy....
I would LOVE to have seen further questions to these average muslim joes....ie: Do you support the beating of uppity wives? Do you support the dhimmi system? Do you support the death sentence for Ex Muslims? Do you support the rape of captive women in war? And so on and so forth....

Another person not willing to be honest about Islam and the situation we face.....obviously not every 1 billion member of the ummah is the enemy...but their philosphy (islam) is indeed the enemy of the West and East...just as much as liberalism and marxism and nazism were....
Thank God for people like Robert Spencer, Charles Johnson, Malkin and most of all, the legions of brave ex muslims like Ibn Warraq, Tasmeen Nasreela, Ali Sina, Mark Gabriel and so many many others that have to live in hiding for their brave opinions....
One day...if Islam does win....even the left will finally realize that this decadent brutal backwards ideology was our common enemy all along....a reality some Western Europeans are getting far to close to living...ie France...

Sorry, but Ms. Young appears to be another politically correct liberal determined to not see the obvious.
At the end of the day, Cathy Young and her Reason colleagues care most about being allowed to smoke grass without a helmet in the Playboy Mansion, just like 99% of libertarians (and a surprising number of "conservatives).
Their protestations to the contrary, they really do buy into plenty of politically correct notions, all the while complaining about political correctness. They're all about being witty, clever and knowing, but I don't think any of that will help much in this war.
