Dear! Dear! Where would the nation be without Rick Salutin's sage advice and commentary?

Everything that comes out of the mouths of Toronto pundits is coloured by this jealousy of all things American.

The poor Canadian virgin, according to Salutin ( rhymes with "Putin") has her purity, her virtue tainted by the hands of filthy militaristic American males.

True, the British talked with the IRA, but they backed up the talking by fighting and killing when necessary. When salutin says "talking" he really means surrendering.

Rick says we should be talking to the Taliban. What he never tells us is what we should be talking about. Even if there is something to talk about, have the Taliban ever indicated that they want to talk?
