I hope the liberals know what they are in for, Turner will be a liability for any party he is involved in. Frankly, after listening to him during a town hall meeting at York U a few months ago, its clear he's a loose cannon.

Well, there we are then. I don't think Girth is in any respect dishonest, except with himself. He is of that unimaginative stamp that sees politics as a business, though, and should fit rather well in the Libranos. It's just business.

I seem to remember Tharg telling people in the 90s, shortly before the 2000 crash, to mortgage their homes and invest in stocks.

The principle is sound but without the appropriate training and discipline it is very dangerous.

>He's already acting like a Liberal!

Not likely. He sniffed the wind with his straw poll and then walked in a different direction. Liberals always follow public opinion.

"Maverick MP Garth Turner, who was booted from Conservative party ranks last fall"

Maverick is too kind an adjective; flake is more like it.

According to the G&M, "talks with the Liberals were prompted by an electronic Christmas card he sent to a member of the Liberal riding association in Halton."

Which is a bit like "talks about the possibility of a sexual relationship were promopted when Susie disrobed and laid on the floor."
