Comments: Liberal principles and consistency
Comment by view from the West:

At what point did you believe that the Liberal party could be taken seriously when applied to the subject of the military?
Trudeau was the only one to use it when it was convenient for him (Quebec), but the institution itself went against everything he held dear.
From then on, each Liberal government allowed the military to become blue beret wearing 98lb weaklings.

And of course, we all know what 'fair share' means to Quebec - 60%.

We don't need the heavy lift aircraft. That $3.2 billion should have been spent on Arctic sovereignty and building a CFB in the far north. HArper spends a lot of money on vote getting gimmicks.

So, 'B.Bob'; how do you plan to supply your 'Arctic sovereignty' and 'CFB in the far North'? By truck?!

Don't forget about the Anti-Military stance recently and yet in QP I hear rants about expanding Bi-lingualism Rights to meet Federal targets and obey the Laws for quotas.
As for the Liberals pathetic display on Sunday's CTV show Q.P. Mark Holland seems to feel Ontario is so utopic for air and water that he's heading to Alberta to teach them about being responsible, MP Holland also lied right to Jane Tabers face when she asked him about the National Energy Plan he threatened Alberta over for the Oil sands.
Holland denied that stance by Liberals and even claimed Charles Adler accused him of saying it , then said if you listen to the tapes it will prove I said it but I didn't mean it .
Coderre alleged MP O'Connor was engaging in criminal activity for the C-17's contracts , listen to the interview and hear how is says that " it looks like,or maybe , could be, some links, that may need a possible investigation."

So glad a Liberal can make a definitive stance or claim, but Scott Brison was a classic when he said that Canadians will vote for Dion once he makes his positions clear so they can vote for him .
Ya gotta love spin, Brison couldn't even say what Dion position was and only said that once he takes a stand voters will like him.
But Dion also said that IF he becomes PM he'll deal with the Dual-Citizenship with France, didn't Dion learn a thing from Chretien's hollow promises that killed Paul Martin's bag of promises.

The Liberals would probably prefer to hand over millions of dollars to the Russians every year for lifting our military equipment around - Russians know all about kickbacks to friendly politicians, and that's right up the Liberal's alley.
