It's interesting how the Iraqis think they are better off now, than before the invasion, and yet the Congressional leadership wants to give up on the whole enterprise as hopeless and bug out.
And while, surprise!, the post-invasion plans didn't survive first contact with the enemy, the Iraqis don't want their country broken up, don't think they're in a civil war, and think the militias will be disarmed.
And, while by no means perfect, the Iraqis are a Muslim Arab country with a democratic government, which is a Hell of a start.
Personally, I blame Bush.
