As disgusting as I find this, it isn't as widespread as we would be led to believe. Check it out on snopes....apparently it is just one school in the northern UK.

Having said that, I do feel that this could be just the tip of the iceberg and we'll go down like the Titanic unless certain professions like education and politics grow some backbone and learn how to say NO and mean it.

I know a woman who teaches at a school in Toronto with a mainly Somali population. She says that when teachers try to bring up the Holocaust in history classes, some Muslim students disrupt the class. They are not punished, and the Holocaust is not covered. It is happening here.

"Some teachers are reluctant to cover the atrocity for fear of upsetting students whose beliefs include Holocaust denial," says the report. The subject of the Crusades is avoided because the lessons would "contradict what is taught in local mosques."

And the leftists who object to not teaching evolution in class because it might offend fundamentalists will be condemning this latest affront to education ... uh, pretty soon. Right?

The teaching of theories in science class is another issue I think. This is history here. We can't allow the distorting of historical fact.

And just a few posts down, we saw that the EU wants to make Holocaust denial a criminal offence.

Square peg, meet round hole.
