Goodbye Cold War, make way for the new Cold War.

Comment by Hans Rupprecht:

Perhaps not so much a new Cold War, as regressing into a 1920's style Al Capone style capitalism.

Given the number of bodies piled up under the red communist banner; engaging in simple alleged radioactive assassinations is hardly helpful.

I think the Chernobyl screwup in '86 was bad enough.

With polonium 210, this kind of backsliding into a darker method of achieving economic objectives, decidedly sends the wrong message, to business people who might otherwise be disposed to write up contractual arrangements.

Whose going to write up new business when the unwritten message is that if you don't cooperate one is subject to a good old fashioned "Russian Siberian Tiger" mauling?

This is hardly what one would find in the best business practices manual. It seems to me that it would be in the Russians best interest to clear the air on this matter, as it casts a cloud over future business relations.

If someone went 'rogue' at least the rest of the world wants to know that we're not going backwards.
